FlexiSolar announces plans for EMEX

07.11.2018

FlexiSolar

With EMEX fast approaching, Adam Goves, Business Development Director at FlexiSolar reflects on our campaign leading up to the show - and announces our stand plans….

As FlexiSolar’s ‘Driving Solar Evolution’ campaign continues at pace we get closer to EMEX, the flagship event dedicated to Energy management; taking place at ExCel in London on 21st – 22nd November.

Adam Goves, Business Development Director at FlexiSolar looks back at the new communications campaign it launched recently – and announces some exciting plans for the show.

With two weeks to go until the UK’s must-attend energy event for everyone wanting to increase their organisation’s energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions, we’re putting the finishing touches in place for our involvement.

The planet we live on needs our protection and it needs it right now.  Now is the time to make a change – with a large-scale solar revolution.  FlexiSolar is on a mission to lead this change.

We are acutely aware of the role solar plays for the future of the planet and we are passionate about delivering it.  That’s why our Driving Solar Evolution campaign was launched recently – our call to action through a series of communications designed to inspire commitment to on-site renewable energy generation projects from large-scale solar carports.  AND…. that’s why we’re exhibiting at EMEX again this year, to tell visitors more about our role as a renewable energy solution integrator. Our solutions unlock the enormous potential of existing ‘brown field’ car parking sites, whilst avoiding the need to develop precious green belt land. It’s a win-win.  We really are passionate not only about reducing customer energy costs but about protecting the planet we live on. That’s why we all do what we do here at FlexiSolar.

We will be showcasing a life-sized solar carport at our stand (D36), near the ‘Facilities, Technology & Innovation theatre’.  The carport on display will be based on our popular V-Frame mono-pitch solar carport, which features a lightweight, cost effective steel frame. Guests can hear more about our project with Bentley Motors, where we installed the UK’s largest solar carport to date, and talk to us about how many more scale projects are being identified and adopted right now.  AND - not only that but as part of our SmartHubs project – we are developing our very own Vehicle-To-Grid (V2G) ready EV charge-point, ‘FlexiCharger’ – which – of course, we will be giving an insight to at EMEX – come and visit us to find out more.

Guy Morrison, our Sales Director, discussed EV charging in our latest insight and highlighted the importance of ensuring carparks are EV ready – something that FlexiSolar believe solar carports are ideally placed to help with.  Our expert team here at FlexiSolar can help to evaluate and fulfil business' current requirements while future proofing for further deployment as demand grows.

As well as Guy’s recent insight piece, and as part of its ‘Driving Solar Evolution’ campaign, FlexiSolar has released blogs based around carbon reduction and financial savings.  Dawn Welsh, Business Development Manager, shared her thoughts on the importance of reducing carbon emissions and the role solar plays in enabling that change, whilst Business Development Manager, Conal McElroy, highlighted that it isn’t just a case of ‘How much will a solar carport cost’ but actually the value it holds – ‘How much is it worth’.  These blogs reiterate the conversations that we all should be having – and organisations should be part of.  We know that an increasing number of businesses are making the move over to a renewable energy supply – but that more needs to be done.

We know that there is considerable potential within most organisations to make further large energy cost and carbon emission savings through the installation of energy efficiency measures and on-site renewable energy generation. We also know that organisations are keen to understand how they can do just that. Energy management is being taken more seriously than ever before, with the UK’s business community setting clear energy efficiency objectives and strategies for the future.

EMEX connects industrial and commercial energy consumers with leading experts, policy makers and suppliers; sharing knowledge and experiences. We are truly delighted to be part of the event this year, pledging our own commitment to this essential area. And we’ll be in good company, with over 130 exhibitors booked and thousands of visitors expected.

Our solar carport solutions enable organisations to generate onsite energy at scale – and in a renewable form. The cost and carbon savings are significant. We are living and working together at the beginning of the next revolution. This time it is Energy and Transport, combined. The revolution is gathering momentum rapidly, with the uptake of Electric vehicles showing exponential growth opportunities as global automotive manufacturers race to market with their EV offerings. Our solutions enable this transition, with integrated, scalable EV charge-points incorporated within our systems.

And so, the countdown to EMEX begins - we would love you to join us. Have you registered for your free ticket yet? You can register for the event from this link
